This single malt was matured in premium European moscatel casks and is a remarkably delicate whisky. Moscatel is a sweet white wine made from muscat grapes and these wine casks impart an elegant and refined flavour with notes of vanilla and sweet berries. This whisky won a gold medal at the prestigious World Whiskies Awards (see Whisky Magazine Issue 166 pg. 118).
